Jorge Bedoya

Jorge Bedoya is a graduate from the Universidad de los Andes and has a Masters in Law degree from Tulane University (New Orleans, United States). Jorge has served as legal advisor to the National Army of Colombia and as a partner at Stewart & Carvajales Abogados where he provided legal advice in the areas of Intellectual Property, Business Law and Maritime Law.

Prior to joining the Interactive Entertainment Law Group, Jorge was the head of the Interactive Entertainment / Intellectual Property and Commercial Law practices at Bedoya & Visbal Abogados.  Jorge  advises both national and foreign companies from the video game, tech, and entertainment industries. Jorge also serves as an advisor for the Governorship of the Department of the Atlántico region in Colombia, where he has been able to run and design several programs and initiatives destined to improve and incentive the video game and animation industries in the Atlántico region.

In his spare time Jorge loves to spend time recording new music, playing live shows, attending to concerts, and exploring new bars and restaurants with his wife. Jorge also loves teaching at the Universidad del Norte’s Law School, where he teaches both Maritime Law and Media and Interactive Entertainment Law.
