Senior Counsel
Aryeh Richmond is a senior transactional and regulatory attorney with deep experience in the video game and technology industries. He advises developers, publishers, platforms, and investors on a wide range of matters, including publishing and development agreements, software and content licensing, product counseling, IP strategy, AI governance, and global compliance. Aryeh has held senior in-house legal roles at Tencent and Netflix, where he led legal strategy across interactive entertainment, digital platforms, and emerging technologies. At Tencent, he supported global game publishing operations, cross-border joint ventures, and regulatory matters. At Netflix, he advised on AI policy, platform compliance, and international government affairs.

Aryeh began his legal career at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he represented technology and media clients in complex commercial transactions, cross-border deals, and intellectual property licensing. He now brings together law firm precision and deep industry perspective to support clients across the full lifecycle of product development, commercialization, and compliance. His practice spans transactional work—including licensing, development, publishing, and SaaS agreements—as well as regulatory counseling on issues affecting digital content, platforms, and data-driven services.

Before entering the legal profession, Aryeh worked in game and animation production, where he developed original IP and led cinematic development for titles including MechWarrior II: Mercenaries, Heavy Gear 2, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, and dozens of other games.

This dual background enables him to deliver practical, business-oriented advice rooted in a firsthand understanding of creative, technical, and commercial workflows. He is a trusted advisor to clients across the interactive entertainment and broader tech ecosystem, from early-stage startups to global platforms.

Aryeh earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude. His honors include the Order of the Coif, Dean’s List, Sayre MacNeil Scholar, Patrick J. McDonough Endowment Recipient, and membership in the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. He is admitted to practice in California. Aryeh has spoken at several recent industry events on topics ranging from emerging trends in AI licensing to practical approaches for pitching early-stage technology and game companies.
