Adam graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, cum laude, in 2013. While in law school, Adam assisted the California State University, San Marcos Athletics Department in achieving NCAA Division II membership. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business in 2009.
Adam began his legal career with the Rosenbaum Law Group, representing clients in the interactive entertainment, music, fashion, sports and technology/digital media industries. He gained experience in multi-million-dollar investment deals, licensing deals for video game companies and fashion brands, as well as representing individual talent throughout the US. Among his accomplishments, Adam drafted and negotiated key distribution agreements for the worldwide release of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, winner of over 250 “Game of the Year” awards.
He is regularly called upon to negotiate and draft agreements on behalf of individuals and companies involved in creative talent such as music, fashion, digital media and video games. He assists clients with the development and initial launch of new businesses, while also assisting in strategic planning of IP registration and enforcement. His practice, as it relates to the music industry, focuses on recording agreements, publishing agreements, producer agreements, work for hire agreements, management agreements, mechanical licenses, composer agreements, and master and synchronization agreements and other rights clearance agreements for film, television and video games.
Adam is a member of the California Copyright Conference, the Association of Independent Music Publishers, and the National Association of Recording Industry Professionals.
